We are a family friendly pottery painting studio in Mapperley, Nottingham that has been open since 2010. We have 12 tables in 4 rooms over 2 floors! 

If you want to make a booking for more people than the size of one table then please make multiple bookings - enough to seat everyone who will be coming, including anyone who is just supervising.

Downstairs we have 
4 tables that each seat 4 people. 

Upstairs we have 
Studio 1 which has a large table that seats 8 people. 
Studio 2 which has a large table for 8 and a table for 4. 
Studio 3 has 5 tables for 4 people

Razzle Dazzle Pots

£17 per head

The Party is for 2 hours with some time allocated at the end for us to clear up and reset the space for the next customers, please clear away your belongings promptly so that we can ensure all our customers get to enjoy our spaces without too much waiting time.

This includes an item of Pottery for each guest from this price range, a hand painted keepsake, free squash for guests and a hand print on the wall. 

Private room - minimum number of painters dependant on the room chosen. Studio 1(Table 5) - Minimum six painters, Perfect for an event of just painting - no room for food. Studio 2  (Tables 6 & 7) Minimum 6 painters, seats 8 on the big table and then room on the other table for food.  Studio 3 (Tables 8-12) Minimum 9 painters. Tables can be laid out in different configurations to seat up to 20 comfortably, a few more at a squeeze.

** PLEASE NOTE**
Your party is not booked until you have called us to confirm and if necessary pay the deposit of £30. Due to the nature of our booking system it may be necessary to change the time or room chosen.

Dazzle Party 2 hours

This session is for us to help you with hand and foot prints, be that in clay (imprint) or on items of pottery (glaze).

When booking, please state in the notes section, if you are wanting to do clay prints or glaze prints onto pottery and how old the baby or child is.  Or if you are bringing your pet! (yes we can do those too) 

Where possible please choose a weekday session as these are usually quieter and more calm for everyone involved. If you do book for a Saturday or during a School Holiday be prepared for it maybe be a little hectic. We will do our very best to give you the attention needed but we hope you will excuse us if we need to dash off to deal with something urgent!

The session for doing prints is thirty minutes, if you want to stay and do some pottery painting then please choose a different option as we may have other bookings in after you.

 We do our best to be as gentle as we can with babies but be aware that they may cry, but not for long!

Hand / Foot Prints in Clay or Glaze - 30 minutes

£15 per head.

Razzle Party 2 Hours

Longer session suitable for adult bookings. This session is for 2 & 1/2 hours which should be long enough for a group of mostly adults, who we know will take longer on their designs. 

 During busy times we have to be strict and ensure that you stick to the time allocated. Otherwise we end up with people arriving for a table and it not being available.

 If you know that you or someone in your group takes their time then please choose the longer session. There is a 3 hour group session option available - subject to availability.

Please remember to tell us how many people are coming, this is so that we can ensure you have the correct table. 
 
Due to the nature of the booking system you have the option to choose a specific table however PLEASE JUST CHOOSE THE TIME AND WE WILL ALLOCATE THE TABLE. 

 If you really want a specific table or room then write it in the note along with how many are in group and we will do our best to accommodate your wishes but can't guarantee it .

The cost of the activity is purely down to the item of pottery you choose to paint, as a guide many things are in the region of £12 - £24 each with things cheaper and more expensive. This price includes the item, the painting activity, us glazing and then firing the item. Pottery is usually ready the Tuesday following your visit. Occasionally the time for collection may be longer.

Pottery Painting  2 & 1/2 Hours

Our adults only evening - cost depends on the pottery you choose to paint and the session runs from 6:30 - 9:30pm. You do NOT have to arrive exactly at 6.30 - this is just the general time the session starts. But we do ask that you are on your way home by 9.30pm!

We offer Play with Clay - the cost is £20 per head and this is for a lump of clay for you to hand build an item, be that a slab or pinch pot or a wall hanging of some description. Please note we DO NOT have a wheel for throwing.

If would like to sit on a specific table  please write it in the note when booking. Other wise we will allocate tables depending on numbers. 

You can bring along your own drink and snacks but remember we do also serve hot & cold drinks.

Me Time Evening  Thurs  21 Nov / 5 Dec / 12 Dec

Great for Adults who take their time.

Pottery Painting  2 Hours

Suitable as a family session with primary school age children. 

However if it is mostly adults who are painting this option we have found is NOT LONG ENOUGH to complete your project.   If you know that you or someone in your group takes their time then please choose the longer session,  so either a 2 or 2 ½ hour session.  During busy times we have to be strict and ensure that you stick to the time allocated. Otherwise we end up with people arriving for a table and it not being available.

Pottery Painting 1 & 1/2 hours

If you are a group larger than four people then we have two tables available that seat 8 - table 5 & table 6. 
We can also allocate whole rooms or several tables for large groups. 
Please make several bookings to ensure you have the correct number of seats for the amount of people coming to paint or give us a call and we can sort this all out over the phone.

This session is for 2 1/2  hours which we have found is  enough time for a large group of 4 or more adults. During busy times we have to be strict and ensure that you stick to the time allocated. Otherwise we end up with people arriving for a table and it not being available.

Group Booking / Hen Party 2 1/2 Hours

Parties

If you have never been before we suggest choosing the 2 hour option. Please remember that this time includes you selecting your pottery and then sitting and painting it.
When booking - Choose Any Staff Option (read staff as Table!) This looks through all the tables and times available

We have found that on Saturdays and in School Holidays we have to be very strict with times. Please remember that other people will be coming in after you.

There is the option, at no additional cost,  to come again one more time to finish off your item.
